[Product Description]
[Men (Headgear)]
It’s not just about shock absorption and lightness!
The length of the men-buton is the most important for the competition type.
To conform to the new standards, a length that covers the shoulders, the futon measures 19 cm from the tojikawa (leather bindings), which does not hinder arm movement.
This is standards compliant and the most requested length in recent years.
The ago (throat protector) is adorned with the simple and popular crossed braid decoration and a four-line hand-braided decoration.
The design is timeless and easy to match with any decoration on the domune (chest protector).
Of particular note is the futon.
Pay attention to the difference in thickness.
For the datotsu (striking) zone on the top of the head
The newly developed core padding is more than sufficient from tailoring that is 1.3 times thicker than conventional padding.
To reduce the weight, the thickness of the futon is be lower in the area below this kirikaeshi line.
Not only is the thickness lower, but firmness is also considered, and by orderly arranging the horizontal stitches, it becomes easier to mold into the desired shape.
The soroe-zashi stitching requires time and effort.
That’s why it looks great.
It gives off a distinctive radiance at the match venue and the practice hall.
Datotsu (striking) zone.
In addition to the 1.3 times thicker core padding, it is tailored with wide intervals between the rows of stitching to give the men even greater shock absorption.
Hohowa (inner ring).
Made of Sillead offering excellent sweat absorption yet quick drying.
[Kote (protective gloves)]
✓ Check
It is no exaggeration to say that the most recommended is kote.
Please feel the grip the moment you put it on.
This is the ideal kote!
At the moment you put it on, your hands naturally take the proper form of holding the shinai.
This shows the shapes of the hands when a conventional kote is worn.
Unmistakable difference from Katsu.
The wrist angle supports the grip.
This tailoring is called eguri, and by raising the wrist section, an angle is created that allows you to grasp the shinai naturally from above when in the kamae posture.
In addition, the wrist section is very flexible.
The softness of the wrist increases the freedom of movement even more.
As with the men, the newly developed core padding is sufficiently inserted into the kote-buton for extra thickness.
In recent years, many competitive type kote have been made lighter by reducing the amount of cotton in the kashira (fist cover), but this is meaningless if it is not safe.
At first glance, the design looks old fashioned, but through many trials and errors, it has sufficient volume to protect the fingers.
The length of the kote-buton (wrist cover) also conforms to the new standards.
The leather for the tenouchi (palm cover) is perforated.
Quick drying is guaranteed.
The grip power improves and
grip strength is thoroughly transmitted to the shinai.
Good to hit and
good to be hit.
This is the ideal kote!
[Do (Plastron)]
Light and exceptionally durable.
An imposing 50-piece black reinforced resin do
Hongumo S matsu (cloud, S, and pine) decoration will securely catch the shinai tip.
[Tare (waist-groin protector)]
This is so light that you forget you are wearing it.
The newest core padding maintains its shape.
The futon features firmness and fits in the desired shape quickly.
Simplicity and fortitude.
The fukuro-zashi stitching creates a smart look.
The abdominal belt is soft and clings to the body.
It gives a good fit.
