Kuniyoshi Koresaku is a handcrafted jissengata (competition type) shinai suited for tournaments.

From hand-selected cut bamboo, only those suitable for competition are carefully chosen and hand shaved by a craftsman, and the balance is adjusted to therefore be able to boast of its high quality and comfort during use.

 This shinai is sold only in bamboo, but for customers who wish a fully assembled shinai, optional shikumi leather fittings are available.
